CRISPR began after the pandemic broke the continuity of campus knowledge and culture. The response was not one product, but an institution: infrastructure, archives, public information, editorial systems, utilities and deliberate succession.
That experience became our operating conviction: useful systems need transferable ownership, inspectable decisions and a way to survive their original builders.
